As vice president of public relations and advertising for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association, Gary LaBella spearheads the RV industry's widely acclaimed, award winning Go RVing national advertising campaign, now in its 12th year. The industrywide initiative - now funded at $23 million per year - has unified manufacturers, dealers, suppliers and campground operators and has had a measurable effect on the RV market, bringing in many new buyers among boomers and young families.
LaBella also leads RVIA's "Top of Mind Awareness" public relations program which has triggered a steadily growing level of RV exposure in national media. A 30-year industry veteran and member of the RV/MH Hall of Fame, LaBella has been credited with transforming the way consumers think about RVs in this country, making RVs chic among people of all ages and all social standings.
